August 2019 the Kerala faced heavy rainfalls and subsequent flooding more affected in northern Kerala. Relief operations started with the Collection Center, which has been established at Pragathi Balabhavan Thrikkariyoor to provides essential items for flood victims in Kerala and extended through meal and water distributions, first aid supplies, supply of materials, groceries and dress kits, packed food and hygiene items. as flood subsided and families started to move back to their habitats; the Sevakiran Disaster management team started cleaning and sanitation  in the affected areas in Malappuram District and volunteers were forwarded to the affected areas with all necessary equipments and materials.
